AI Language Club credit terms

Yay, you’ve got credit!
Think of this like a gift voucher, but for yourself/your business.
You can use the credit towards something bigger, or you can get lots of different smaller things. It can’t be applied retrospectively – you must apply your Credit before purchasing.
You can use it for (almost) anything AI Language Club offers – see below for more details.
Promotions and launches are a great time to redeem your AI Language Club credit. If we’re offering a special deal, bonus, early bird special, discount, etc., your credit is directly equivalent to paying, so you’ll get any extras/discounts too. 😉
How to redeem your AI Language Club credit
If you want to spend some or all of your credit, simply email club@ailanguageclub.com and you’ll either:
Receive a coupon to use at the checkout
Receive a custom payment link with instructions to follow
Be directly given access to the offer(s)
Drop us an email at club@ailanguageclub.com with the names of the offer(s) you’d like to redeem your credit for, and we’ll do the rest!
We receive quite a few credit redemption requests (especially around launches!), but we’ll aim to process your request within 48 hours (Mon-Fri)
If you’re emailing to redeem credit within the final few hours of an offer or promotion, please be mindful that
we are based in Central European Time (Geneva), and
we will receive a high volume of credit redemption requests at this time.
Provided you email club@ailanguageclub.com before the deadline, any discounts, offers or bonuses will still be honored for at least 24 hours after we’ve responded to your request to use your credit.
What can you spend credit on?
Your AI Language Club credit can be redeemed for (almost) anything AI Language Club sells – with a few exceptions (detailed below)
You can see a full list of what we currently have for sale on our website.
AI Language Club credit cannot be redeemed for:
AI Language Club membership renewals. (You can use your credit when you sign up for the first time.)
techforword or Fluent Language membership or products.
Live in-person events
AI Language Club, techforword or Fluent Language credit 😉
Any future collaborative offers (where more than one business is creating/delivering/contributing to the offer/service)
AI Language Club credit is either valid for:
A specific period of time from date of purchase / issue (e.g. “valid 6 months from date of issue”), or
A specific period of time between two concrete dates, independent of the date of purchase / issue (e.g. “valid between November 30th, 2024 and December 31st, 2024”)
You will receive written confirmation via email of when your credit is valid at the time of purchase/issue.
Your credit is valid until midnight CET (Geneva) time on the Expiration Date.
Any unused or unspent credit will expire after the Expiration Date and can no longer be redeemed.
Expiration Date extensions will not be granted, except in extenuating circumstances, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
As a courtesy, we send you an automated email reminder 60 and 30 days before your Credit Expiration Date. However, please be mindful that it is your responsibility to use your credit before the expiration date.
Credit is non-refundable and non-transferable
Credit is non-refundable
Credit is non-refundable under any circumstances, except where required by Swiss law.
Should you wish to request a (full or partial) refund on a purchase you made using AI Language Club credit (either in full or in part), you must follow the refund request process laid out in our terms.
Any full or partial payments made using AI Language Club credit will be refunded in AI Language Club credit (not in cash). We will adjust Expiration Dates accordingly if necessary.
AI Language Club credit is non-transferable
Credit received by purchasing a Gift Card can be transferred to another recipient. Please email us to give us the name of the new recipient. All other terms, including the Expiration Date, apply.
Any other AI Language Club credit cannot be transferred to another person, business or member of your team under any circumstances. Your credit is yours and yours alone to spend.
If you have accumulated credit balances under multiple email addresses, we can merge all credit balances under a single email address.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict AI Language Club credit usage
Where AI Language Club credit has been given as a bonus, a gift, a courtesy, a fun surprise, or under any other circumstance (with the exception of AI Language Club credit that has been purchased), we reserve the right to remove, revoke, restrict or otherwise make void AI Language Club credit balances in case of abuse or exceptional circumstances.
For example, if a payment plan falls into arrears, we may restrict the ability to redeem AI Language Club credit until all payments due have been received. These circumstances will be handled at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
How to check your credit balance
You can check your AI Language Club credit balance at any time by email by contacting club@ailanguageclub.com.
If you suspect you may have credit balances under multiple email addresses, please supply all of your current email addresses, so we can consult all your credit balances at once. 🙂
How to donate your credit to the scholarship fund
Received credit as a bonus, but prefer to donate it to a student or someone else in need? You’re awesome!
